In the unlikely event that DDJ needs to cancel a course we shall endeavour to organise an alternative date or offer a full refund.
Course fees do not include insurance for accident, personal injury and belongings and against cancellation or curtailment of the course. DDJ Mountaineering advises participants to take out this cover for the above eventualities. DDJ Mountaineering accepts no liability whatsoever for loss or damage to personal property held by the customer, not caused by DDJ Mountaineering staff.
Equipment loaned to the client that is damaged on course through maltreatment must be paid for in full.
Please note that all of the courses do not include transport. During the course you may be required to use your own vehicle (if you have one).
Any medical conditions or underlying health issues must be reported to DDJ on a medical form. Any medical or health issues that occur after submitting the booking and medical forms must be reported to DDJ at the earliest opportunity. All U18’s must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian present on the course.
Any data you supply will be carefully managed. Medical forms will be securely stored either in a locked cabinet or password protected computer. If you are returning forms by email please be aware that email is not encrypted. the day. You can bring paper copies on day if you prefer.
As a business DDJ Mountaineering regularly uses photos and videos of people on their courses to teach skills to others and promote our services publicly. Consent to use your image shall be done via signing a
‘Media Consent Form’ that will be sent alongside the booking form.
If at a later date you decide that you no longer wish the image to be used by DDJ Mountaineering then you must let us know by emailing us and we will retract the images in question from our database and all promotional/teaching resources.
